Prof. Msoffe is the new DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLORS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DODOMA

APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLORS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DODOMA  

The Chancellor of the University of Dodoma; H.E. Benjamin William Mkapa has appointed new Deputy Vice Chancellors of the University of Dodoma.

Prof. Peter Lawrence Makenga Msoffe has been appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor - Academic, Research and Consultancy for tenure of four (4) years from 1^st January 2016 to 31^st December 2019. On the other hand, Prof. Ahmed Ame has been appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor - Planning, Finance and Administration for tenure of four (4) years from 1^st July 2016 to 30^th June 2020.

These appointments followed recommendations of Search Team for Deputy Vice Chancellors of the University of Dodoma and Resolutions of the 45^th meeting of the Executive Committee of the University of Dodoma Council held on 18^th November, 2015.

Prof. Msoffe takes over the position from Prof. Ludovick Dominick Bati Kinabo whose tenure ends on 31 December, 2015 while Prof. Ame will take over the position from Prof. Shaaban Ali Kachenje Mlacha whose tenure ends on 30^th June 2016.

Prior to these appointments, Prof. Msoffe has been serving as Director of Undergraduate Studies from 1^st July 2011 to date. On the other hand, Prof. Ame has been serving as Director of Graduate Studies from 1^st July, 2008 to date.
